About Us

Destinworld Publishing was founded in 2008 as an independent publisher of non-fiction transport, travel, Christian and local history books.

We began our journey publishing the popular Airport Spotting Guides and Historic Walking Guides series of books.

Since then our portfolio has expanded to include many titles on specialist subjects and we have expanded into full-colour books showcasing the history of local areas, transport history and other topics.

We launched the Timelines series in 2015 which takes a pictorial look at a subject from its beginnings to the present day and includes both local history and transport topics. We have also produced books in the A Rare Insight and In Old Postcards series to great response from our readers.

Our authors are experts in their field and we’re always on the look out for new authors to join our ranks. If you have a book idea and would like to see it published, please contact us.

We are based in the North East of England. Our books are available in high street, specialist and museum shops worldwide, as well as online wherever books are sold.
